Navagation Acts
The British have been hearing that that the colonists have been trading with other european countries. Because of this the British passed a law that trading with any other country is illegal. The colonists were enraged by this, they believed that they could trade with any country they wanted. So the colonists started smuggling goods from the colonies to other countries such as France and Spain.
Stamp Act
eCreated in 1765 the Stamp Act was a tax that was placed on almost every printed item such as cards, magazines, newspapers and even stamps. The purpose this was implemented was to pay the British troops stationed in the colonies after the 7 years war. The colonists weren't delighted by this. As Englishment they felt they should not be taxed without their consent.
Boston Massacure
The Boston Massacure in 1770 was far from a massacure although the spread of false ideas made coonists think otherwise. The massacure began when colonists were throwing things at British troops who were guarding a warehouse. Something happened and the British fired their guns killing 5 injuring 6. Newspapers picked up on the event and called it a Massacure and many colonists enraged by this.
Tea Act
The Tea Act was for a good cause, attempting to save the East Indian Company. Although the colonists were not delighted by the decission the king has made. In response they organized the Boston Tea Party where they dumped over 1 million dollars in todays currency worth of tea into the Boston Harbor. This was one of the final straws before the Revolutionary War.
