PV Important Updates -
If you 3rd - 5th Grader will be coming to Park View this Wednesday (4/28) for the State IAR Assessment, you will need to fill out this RSVP form so we know which students will be in the building. The times have not changed; drop-off is at 8:30 am and pick-up is at 11:00 am. The deadline for filling out this form is Monday (4/26) at 5:00 pm. It is important we know who will be here so we can plan accordingly for social distancing during testing.
Every week, I share the PV Wednesday Schedule and continually add events as they are planned. Please look at this latest version. You will notice some important End-Of-Year events that have been added. Detailed information on each event will come from your child's teacher. This schedule is to alert you to these events as early as possible for your own planning.
The district sent out information I am linking here about the EVOLVE ACADEMY coming next school year. Every District #44 family will have an option for their child(ren) to attend school fully remote next year. Feedback from the #44 community has highlighted this need for some families. The link above will take you to a district informational page that gives more details about this opportunity. If you are interested, please fill out the survey. This will be open to all students at all schools in our district.

Teacher Appreciation - From Your PTA . . . . . .
Hello, Park View Parents!
Our Disney-themed Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3rd-7th! We are excited to celebrate all of our wonderful teachers and let them know how much we appreciate them!
To kick off the week, we will decorate each staff member’s classroom door with notes from their students telling them something that they appreciate or love about them, or something that they have done to help make this school year magical!
We sent notes for the kids to fill out in backpacks this week. The file is also attached here, and extra hard copies are availble in the vestibule between the 2 front doors at school.
Please remind your children that the can write to their classroom teachers, as well as specials teachers or any other staff members who they see.
All forms should be returned to school by Thursday, April 29 in an envelope marked PTA TEACHER APPRECIATION COMMITTEE. Please contact Kate Gerlesits at kategerlesits@yahoo.com with any questions.
