With this tool teachers can turn videos into lessons by adding questions, audio, or notes. Integrates with Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, Moodle, PowerSchool, Blackboard, and blackbaud. What’s more, Edpuzzle tracks student progress, helping teachers to differentiate instruction. Free basic plans offer access to more than 5 million editable videos, storage space for 20 videos, and student analytics. - Flipgrid
This outstanding video discussion tool is designed for the digital classroom but works in any learning environment. Teachers post videos as prompts for class discussions and students respond using text, emojis, and stickers. Integrates with Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and Remind. Free. An incredibly rich source of web- or app-based (Android iOS) interactive learning. Head over to Google Arts and Culture and simply start scrolling through topics such as “The Gardener” by Vincent Van Gogh, 10 of the World's Zaniest Buildings, Cultural Crosswords, Virtual Museum Collections, and so much more. Ideal for art, social studies, history, design, PBL, even STEM—but every classroom or online learning environment will benefit. Free.

Explora Workshops for Teachers, Librarians, and Out-of-School Time Educators!

- Easy, Breezy: A Gust of Air: Have you ever marveled at the air around you? Can you make a ball levitate? Can you make an egg jump from one container to the next? You’ll experiment with the power of air as you discover how airplanes fly and birds soar. You’ll also learn techniques for making and testing parachutes in the classroom! September 23 from 3-5pm
- Creative Coding: Make computer science accessible, creative, and fun by bringing the making mindset to student projects. In this series of workshops, you will learn to use simple, common materials with micro:bit microcontrollers in creative ways. The first workshop is an introduction with no previous coding experience required. The second is an intermediate-level workshop for those who have taken Creative Coding I or have some experience with micro:bits. September 22 & October 20 from 4-6pm
- Maker-Centered Learning: Escape Room: Offered IN PERSON. Learn to bring science and problem-solving to life by having your students create their own escape rooms. This workshop will explore strategies for incorporating engineering, logic, math skills, and creativity. September 26 from 10am-12pm.

Join guest educator Bricks 4 Kidz for an interactive, hands-on, STEM-focused afterschool program that allows students to explore their inner engineering skills. They’ll build motorized LEGO® models, each one designed with students' skill and learning levels in mind! Students will see their favorite things come to life, from animals to their favorite amusement park ride! They'll have fun building while engaging those important math and engineering skills!
