Emerald Campus Weekly News
A note for students and parents-
Greetings!
This week has been quite eventful at Emerald Campus with great service-learning opportunities, experiential learning activities, and planned activities around caring (our Emerald Campus monthly theme for December). We thank our students and parents for supporting our monthly theme work to help all students feel they have a special place to belong within our community at Emerald Campus.
With semester exams quickly approaching, we are offering an opportunity to support students at Emerald Campus with exam review. Any student looking for support or just a structured place to review can attend (the class does not need to be at Emerald Campus).
We will hold a session to go over general strategies and then offer time for students to work in groups or with available teachers. The sessions will be from 2:30-4:00.
We have a general breakdown of-
- December 7th- English/World Language
- December 8th- Science/Social Studies
- December 9th- Math/Computer Science/Business/Art
No RSVP is needed, students just show up on the third floor in the Yellow Commons.
Regards,
Your EC Admin
Julie Blevins, Mark Eatherton, and Lori Mesi

Upcoming Scheduling information
College Credit Plus (CCP) for CSCC at Emerald Campus
The Drop deadlines for all CCP classes have past. At this point, students must remain in the course for the duration of the semester according to the CCP and college rules. Non-attendance will result in a failing grade.
If your student is needing additional support, the student can meet for office hours on Fridays here at Emerald with their composition instructor, visit our LLC for help from our librarian, or go directly through CSCC for support https://www.cscc.edu/academics/departments/english/writing-center.shtml
Upcoming Events/Dates
Upcoming Dates
December 14th-17th Semester Exams - Schedule
Lunch will be served at the home schools and Emerald Campus prior to departure.
Shuttles will be provided to students between schools at the beginning of the day, between exams, and the end of the day. School will end for all high school students at all buildings at 1:18.
Notes: If a student does not have a scheduled exam, they are free not to attend school for that time. Students attending have several locations within Emerald Campus to quiet study.
If this exam period falls as the first exam of a day, students may attend just for that exam without a tardy. If this exam period falls as the second exam of a day, students will be permitted to leave Emerald Campus without a signed note but REQUIRED to have a signed parent note to leave after an exam from the home high schools. If any parents would like to request a student be required to remain at Emerald Campus even when they do not have an exam, please reach out to emeraldcampus@dublinschools.net with this request.
