Nutrition Services News: Preparing for the 2022-2023 School Year
This Fall, Naperville 203’s Nutrition Services program is transitioning back to traditional meal service at our schools. The USDA waiver that allowed for us to serve free breakfast and free lunch to all students has expired.
What does that mean for your family?
- Breakfast and Lunch is still available at all schools
Meal Prices are based on your household’s meal benefit status and grade level:
- Milk sold outside a meal is $0.45 each
- Junior High & High Schools have a la carte options for sale in addition to the full meal options
- Early Childhood has snacks and meals per their specific programs
- Connections has access to meals, upon request
Additional Information
Menus will be posted by the beginning of August. Please note that due to ongoing supply chain issues, menus are subject to change. As much advance notice as possible will be provided to the affected schools.
If you believe your family may qualify for meal benefits, please complete a Household Eligibility Application and submit it to your school or our Administrative office for review and processing.
Please make sure your students have adequate funds on their meal account. Even if your family receives free or reduced meals, a la carte items are “extras” that get charged to their account. You can deposit funds to their account at MySchoolBucks.com (includes transaction fee) or by sending payments into the school or our Administrative office. Setting up a MySchoolBucks account and reviewing balances and purchases is at no extra cost.
