From the Port Washington High School - School Supply Drive
Hello parents, staff members, and families of the Port Washington-Saukville community,
We are excited to announce the Port Washington Key Club’s 2021 School Supply Drive! Port Washington High School, Thomas Jefferson Middle School, Lincoln Elementary School, Saukville Elementary School, and St. John XXIII Catholic School will all be competing to gain the most items in the drive, and all proceeds will benefit the Port Washington Food Pantry and Saukville Food Pantry. Starting on April 6th, each school will have decorated boxes available to drop items off in, and the food pantries are specifically requesting:
Red, yellow, blue, and green wide-lined notebooks, pronged folders, and plastic folders
Crayola wide and thin markers (it has to be Crayola)
Crayola colored pencils (It has to be Crayola)
Red, blue, and black permanent pens
Pink Pearl erasers (It has to be Pink Pearl)
1” and 1.5” 3-ring binders
Wide-lined loose-leaf paper (150-200 count each)
Pointed scissors (ONLY at TJMS grades 7 and 8 and PWHS)
Clorox wipes
Paper towels
12 oz. bottles of hand sanitizer
Once the drive concludes on April 30th, the winner - whichever school gains the most items - will win a rotating engraved plaque to commemorate their efforts towards providing for those in need!

Reserve your 2020-2021 LES Yearbook for just $9. You can order online at book.hrimaging.com or use the order form that went home in the Thursday Envelopes last week (we have more in the office should you need one). Please note, all checks should be made payable to "HR Imaging". Preserve your child’s school year with this wonderful keepsake. All orders and money must be submitted no later than Friday, April 9th.

Summer School
Summer school is going to be upon us quickly. Here are a few details to consider before the catalog is released the week of April 7th.
- In-person :)
- Dates: Monday, July 6 - Friday, July 30
- Hours: 8am - 11:35am
- 4 class periods
- Registration begins: April 28
- Incoming Prek - 3rd grade classes will be held at LES
- Incoming 4th - 8th grade classes will be held at TJMS
- Note: Swim will be offered to grades 1 - 3 and held at TJMS for fourth period only
2021 SUMMER SCHOOL - COURSE OFFERINGS SNAPSHOT (incoming grades 1-8)
PWSSD provides incoming grades 1-8 students an excellent chance to stay sharp on academic skills over the summer, to explore new interests, and to go beyond the opportunities available during the regular school year. Please be sure to pack a change of clothes & mask in your child’s backpack
Please be sure to pack an extra shirt, pair of sweatpants, a mask, and pair of socks in case of run-ins with puddles and mud at recess, nosebleeds, and /or milk spills at lunch. We have a very limited supply of items to loan, and when we run out, we will need to phone a parent to bring in dry clothing.

If your child is currently enrolled in PWSSD 4-Year-Old Preschool it is not necessary for you to register!
2021-2022 4-year old Preschool Registration is also open
Registration is now open for 4 Yr Old Preschool. Forms are available on the district website or stop by the LES Office for a packet.
Quarantine/Virtual School Student Lunches Info
Beginning the week of January 25th, the free lunch pickup for virtual and/or quarantined students will now be on Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The pickup location will remain the same - Thomas Jefferson Middle School north parking lot, the brown steel door to the kitchen, follow the signs.
