Valentine's Day
This was a great time to show how much we care about each other by passing out valentines and doing our best to say kind words to one another--even if we can't have cookies and candy!!!!!!
Writing
We wrote what filled our hearts--with our fifth grade buddies. They helped us with words and showed us how to cut hearts out of paper.
Heart Crafts
Now that we know how to make paper hearts, we decided to make heart animals, insects, or a collage using the heart shapes we made.
Valentines
We enjoyed reading the cards that our friends gave us. It was nice to see everyone helping each other if they couldn't read the names on the envelope.
Phonics
Playing Heads Up...Vocabulary Up. Using the trick words
from our word wall and playing the same heads up 7-up game, students who had their thumb tapped would have to say the name of the word, not the student who they thought tapped them.
Heads Up...
As you can see, we are very serious about this game and no one was peeking!
Morning tubs
Who wouldn't want to come in and get your day started if your first assignment was Potato Heads?????
Top Dog
Harmony is our Top Dog. Harmony loves pandas and monkeys. Her favorite food is spaghetti. She is pawsome at running and wants to be a doctor when she grows up!
Doggy Bag
1. Don't forget to bring in a cereal box (empty or Earl and I will eat it first). We will need them by next Friday.
