February 15th PD Day
Just a quick reminder that the upcoming District PD Day is scheduled for February 15th at Liberty High School. The schedule this Spring will include department meetings, specialty learning sessions, and building Visible Learning time. This year, all staff MUST register for the special PD session in MLP in order to better assign rooms. The times set for that day will be:
8:00 - 9:15 District Grade Level/Department Meetings (LA will be given a room at LHS)
9:30 - 10:45 PD Sessions - sign up for a session attendance in MLP
11:00 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 3:30 Building Visible Learning at LA
The design of this PD day is built to meet the needs and input gathered from the District PDC Survey following the PD day last September. Thank you to all those who provided ideas to continue to improve our district learning opportunities. Thank you for your dedication to professional learning in our district.
This time proves to be critical for you as teachers to work together. If you would like to start at 11:15 at LA, you can take your lunch at the end of the day. (all or none--just let me know what the group decides)
