Welcome Back!
I am genuinely excited to be a part of the ECHS team of dedicated, caring and innovative educators. I understand that change can be difficult and cause anxiety, but know that I am coming in with a collaborative and positive mindset. I will do everything I can to achieve balance between my responsibilities as Principal of ECHS and Director of Education Options. I will aim to provide a thoughtful and focused servant-leadership that strives for continuous growth of our school and programs.I look forward to having the opportunity to work closely with all of you to advocate for our students and provide them with a safe, supportive and rigorous learning environment.

Welcome to ECHS New Teachers
Heather grew up in Ventura County and graduated from San Diego State University with a journalism degree. After working in the field of journalism and communications, she earned her teaching credential from Azusa Pacific University and has been teaching English language arts and journalism in the Ventura Unified School District for the past 11 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, bicycling and paddle boarding. As an aficionado of hot tea, one of her favorite mottos is: "Life if like a cup of tea, it's all in how you make it."
Josh Meehan -
Greetings, my name is Josh Meehan and I am excited to say that I will be joining the ECHS teaching staff in August. I have been in VUSD for 18 years, most recently at Anacapa, where I taught math and science. Born in San Francisco, I grew up locally and currently live in Camarillo with my wife Danielle, sons Jacob and Nate, and dog Pinto. In my free time I enjoy good times with family and friends and playing music. I’m looking forward to working with ECHS students and staff in the STEM/Tech area and I’m thankful for the warm welcome I’ve already received from the incredible ECHS community.
