Windows Easy Transfer
When moving files from a Windows PC to another Windows PC, Windows Easy Transfer is an option. However, like the time machine for backing up a mac, you will need to purchase an external drive.
1. From the start menu type in "Easy Transfer"
2. Click "Next"
3. Select "An external hard disk or USB Flash Drive"
4. Continue to follow the on-screen directions.
You will be able to use the same process to transfer the content to your new computer.
