Gmail: Preview Pane Enabled
February 15, 2017
Previewing Emails
Gmail, by default, doesn't give you the option to preview email messages, but you can enable that setting easily. Here's how:
Steps 1 and 2: Click the Gear, then Settings
Step 3: Select Labs
Steps 4 and 5: Enable Preview Pane, Then Save
Step 6: Using Preview Pane
In your inbox, look for the button below. This will give you three options: No Split, Vertical Split, and Horizontal Split. Then, once you choose you have the option to change the size of the preview window. Try it.
FYI
Did you know that you could sign out of your Gmail from another computer?
Here's How:
If you forgot to sign out of your email on another computer, you can remotely sign out of Gmail.
- Open Gmail.
- In the bottom right corner, click Details Sign out all other web sessions.
Tip: If you’re using a public or shared computer, sign out of your Google Account before leaving the computer. Learn more about signing in securely to Google.
