Message from the Principal
Hello Barbieri Families,
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer weather!
I am requesting support from our families to review bus expectations with our little hawks at home! Please support us at home by reminding all of our students about the expected behaviors on the bus:
- Remain seated at all times
- ONLY change your seat if you are moving up to speak to the driver (when the bus has stopped) OR following directions to move your seat, given by the bus driver
- Have a safe and calm body at all times
- Be respectful and kind to all
As we all are aware COVID cases continue to rise and we must all do our part to keep our Barbieri community healthy. Please remember the following:
- After testing positive with COVID your child MUST MASK for the first 5 days that they return to school. Masking after testing positive and returning to school is NOT optional. On day 6 your child may return to not wearing a mask if you'd like.
- I strongly encourage everyone to continue to TEST WEEKLY prior to coming to school. There have been asymptomatic cases.
- PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL IF THEY DO NOT FEEL WELL, EVEN IF THEY TESTED NEGATIVE that day. If they are sick, they should be home resting! Their health is important to us!
- If your child does not feel well and tests negative, it doesn't hurt to test again if they continue to feel ill. As you can test positive on the second time.
- I strongly encourage everyone who is able to test to continue to do so weekly through school/pool testing.
- Please email Nurse Omayra with any questions onieves@framingham.k12.ma.us
As the year comes to an end we are excited about all of our end of the year school events. Please be sure to review the bulletin thoroughly for details.
Be well,
Maria
