ACT TESTING DATES
Virtual and In-person FAFSA Frenzy events still available!!!
The priority deadline for the Access Missouri Grant Program – the state’s largest student financial aid program – is quickly approaching. Students must complete the FAFSA by Wednesday, Feb. 1 to be guaranteed a grant award if they meet all eligibility requirements.
Students completing the FAFSA after Feb. 1 but before the April 1 final deadline could still receive a
grant if funding is available. However, early submission of the FAFSA is encouraged because funds are limited.
Students can file the FAFSA online at https://studentaid.gov/. Financial aid professionals, high school counselors, and other volunteers provide free assistance during FAFSA Frenzy events.
In addition to events hosted by schools and partner organizations, Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (MDHEWD) will host the following virtual FAFSA Frenzy events just ahead of the Feb. 1 Access Missouri Grant priority deadline.

Missouri students attending a FAFSA Frenzy event can apply online for one of 20, $500 Journey to
College Scholarships through Scholarship Central at https://myscholarshipcentral.org/.
Important instructions for completing the application can be found at https://journeytocollege.mo.gov/pay/file-a-fafsa/fafsa-frenzy/.
When attending an event, FAFSA Frenzy participants should bring:
• 2021 W-2 forms
• Copies of their 2021 tax forms
• Social Security number
• Student and parent FSA IDs (Students and parents should apply for separate usernames and
passwords at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch before attending a FAFSA Frenzy
event.)

ICATT Machining Apprenticeship
Summer 2023
We offer a state of the art apprenticeship, as part of the ICATT Apprenticeship Program, which ensures that you gain practical skills as well as academic knowledge so you are prepared to start your career in manufacturing. Besides being paid during your training at our facilities in St. Peters, we also cover the costs for you to attend Southwestern Illinois College. Upon completion of the program you will have an Associate Degree as well as national and international credentials.

Operating Engineers Local 513
A career as an Operating Engineer is challenging, diverse and fulfilling, both in terms of personal rewards and monetary benefits.
What is the Apprenticeship Program?
The Operating Engineers Local 513 Apprenticeship Program is a 3-year program consisting of onsite classroom training and on the job training for individuals to become heavy equipment operators and members of Operating Engineers Local 513.
How do I get into the program?
- Apply in-person (Monday-Friday 8am-3pm)
- Need a Valid Driver's License
- At least 17 years of age (It's a year wait into the program and will be on the waiting list until they turn 18 years old)
- Be a resident within Local 513's jurisdiction (Covers eastern half of MO)
- Have HS diploma or GED- 18 years of age to enter the program
- Keep in mind, if you are over 17, there will still be a year long wait to be entered into the program.
What is the cost?
The cost for the program is minimal. NO cost to apply. There is a non-refundable $100.00 registration fee must be paid at the Pre-Apprentice Meeting, which is the start of the selection process. One the applicant has passed the selection process and the first training class, apprentices will need to purchase their Registered Apprentice Union Card and start payment of monthly union dues. The cost for RA card is $100.00 plus 3 months union dues paid in advance.
St. Charles Community College
On Friday, March 10th, 2023, from 9 AM to 2 PM, St. Charles Community College will be hosting its third annual Men of Color: Student Success Summit on its main campus at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, Cottleville, MO 63376

Festival of Little Hills Scholarship
The Festival of the Little Hills may award five (5) one year scholarships of $1,000.00 each, to high school Seniors from St. Charles High School, St. Charles West High School, Duchesne High School, Lutheran High School, Orchard Farm High School, and Francis Howell North High School to attend St. Charles Community College or a four year university.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program
Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants are pleased to be able to continue with our scholarship program for the 17h year. We will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year.
Scholarship Deadline - June 10, 2023.

P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization)
This program is offering scholarships in the amount of $1000. The scholarship criteria focuses on community service and citizenship. Students must be females and have a 3.0 or higher GPA. Applications in the counseling office or see attachment.

MARE Rural Missouri Scholarship Fund
This program is open to only junior and senior level students attending Missouri colleges or
universities that offer degrees in education. Applicants must have completed 60 or more credit hours and have declared a major in education.
MUSIC Sholarship
Six scholarships of $2,000.00 each (nonrenewable) will be awarded to 2023 graduating seniors of districts that are MUSIC members.

Missouri Association of School Personnel Administrators (MOASPA-STL)
For high school seniors pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

MOASPA Scholarship Application
St. Charles County Marine Corps League Detachment #725 Scholarship Fund
PURPOSE – To grant $1200 Scholarships to qualified applicants who are pursuing full time undergraduate or technical training at an accredited recognized institution.
ELIGIBILITY – Spouse, Children, Siblings, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Step Children of an active duty, reserve duty or honorable discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps, US Navy FMF Corpsman, or US Navy FMF Chaplain. Or a member of the Marine Corps League or Marine Corps League Women’s Auxiliary in good standing.
2.5 Grade Point Average or better on last GPA report.
A Graduating Senior from schools located in St. Charles County, Past Marine Corps League Scholarship Recipient, or a past graduate residing in St. Charles County, Missouri perusing higher education.

Optimist Club Scholarship
Five (5) one year scholarships of $1000.00 may be awarded to high school seniors from each of the following schools: Duchesne, Lutheran of St. Charles County, Orchard Farm, St. Charles and St. Charles West.

All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in or what their capacity in that sport is.

Amount of Award - $500.00
The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.
