Corinium Radio Tech Team
A weekly update from the Web Team
What's this all about?
This sort-of weekly e-mail (time permitting), sent to you from Corinium Radio's tech and web team, has been started to let you (that is to say, the members of Corinium Radio) know the latest developments on the website and social media channels. We will also be providing a regular look and analysis of the station's listening figures.
This is just an internal e-mail, not available to the ordinary public (ie our listeners), but the information is being made available in this way to help you - our volunteers - promote the radio station in the best way possible. You are of course welcome to forward on to people you think would be interested.

What's New On Listen Again
This section of the newsletter will let you know what new recordings (be they programmes in full or snippets of programmes, short interviews) are available to listen to 'on demand'.
Our aim with Listen Again has always been to try and upload at least something each week, but we at the web team are aware that we can never please everyone. So if you're programme's not on this week, don't fear, the majority of programmes are on our radar and we try to be fair to everyone!

Listening Figures
Our listening figures for last week (25 April to 1 May) are above average compared to recent trends. Over the week we had 89 unique listeners from 14 different countries.
Our peak for the week was at 16 simultaneous listeners between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday 30. April - this would have been during The Wright Note programme, presented by Rachel Wright.
You can see the graph for the number of listeners for the entire week below.
Overall for the month we achieved 278 unique listeners from 29 countries. Let's see if we can break this next month!

Event Information
Live Broadcast from Itzehoe
As our 10th anniversary celebrations continue, the next date for your diaries is our live broadcast from Cirencester's twin town.
Itzehoe - located in the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein - lies on River Stör about 51km NW of Hamburg.
The details of the broadcast are yet to be finalised but all is in hand. Corinium Radio will have a presence there from Friday 27 May to Tuesday 31 May, but the live broadcast itself will only be an hour or two, most likely on Saturday 28 May.

Corinium Radio on BBC Radio Gloucestershire
We are pleased that Corinium Radio has featured twice on BBC Radio Gloucestershire this week.
On Sunday afternoon, Fred's pre-recorded interview with Lee Stone was played out as part of the weekly Community Radio Show.
Lee interviewed Fred at the BBC studios in Gloucester about the upcoming German broadcast and about the wider anniversary celebrations. You can hear the interview in full on the BBC iPlayer for 4 weeks after broadcast - just click here and scroll to about 38 minutes in to the programme.
Liz also made an appearance on Friday afternoon's Drivetime show. Just before the travel news at 17:55, as our 10th birthday party was kicking off, she spoke live over the phone to Vernon Harwood. Listen here (scroll to about 50 minutes in). Earlier members of the Corinium Radio team will remember Vernon's regular visits to our committee meetings in the lead up to our first broadcast!
