la Clase de Español 2

con la Sra. Melo

Updates for week 5: Sept. 22-26

¡Hola a todos los padres! If I have not gotten the chance to meet you in person between the Meet the Teacher night or Open House, please allow me to say "¡Hola!". :)

I am Sra. Melo, your child's Spanish 2 teacher this semester. I can be easily reached via email at or by calling the school at (919) 577-1444.

Hopefully by now, all of you have seen your child's interims from all of their classes that they received last Wednesday, Sept. 17th. They were to have you all sign their interim for my class and return it by last Friday. If you have not done so, please be sure to do that for tomorrow. Thanks so much!

Students in all World Languages classes have their first benchmark exam on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd. I am holding a benchmark review session tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 22nd in my room during "A" lunch to help students prepare even more for this test. The test covers the chapters Para Empezar through 1B. There will be both a Scantron portion as well as a written portion that assesses the skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening in the language.

Please be reminded that the HOT lunch tutorial times for World Languages are "B" lunch on Mondays and "A" lunch on Fridays but I can usually be found most days in my room during at least one lunch shift to assist students as well.
