He promised to bring the economy to a better state, but instead he became the dictator and led his country to start WWII and the Holocaust.

The second in command of the Nazi Germany who came up with the plan for the "Final Solution".

The German Government
Hitler was inspired by the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, and also wanted to brainwash the people of Germany by saying he could save the economy. Since the early 1930s the Nazis had been trying to take over the German government, they quickly gained supporters and were able to win 107 seats in the German parliament. By 1933, Hitler was named the Chancellor of Germany, and he soon overthrew Weiman the president to establish a dictatorship over Germany.

Many Jewish people were forced to go to Concentration camps where they were forced to work or were killed. Auschwitz was the biggest and one of the major camps.

The Berlin Wall was constructed in 1961 after WWII by East Germany because they wanted to keep everyone from the East side of Germany in. This is because it was controlled by the Soviet Union. The West side of Germany was free.

Germany was financially destroyed after WWII because the whole country was in ruins and

The Germans were disgraced by the Nazis after WWII because of the horrible things they did to Jewish people.
