The Red Jacket induction was held at CHS this Friday. A wonderful ceremony where we thank our outgoing batch of seniors for their service and leadership and welcome the Red Jackets leaders that will serve CHS with grit, grace and gratitude! We would like to take this opportunity to thank our incoming leaders and look forward to their exemplary service in the next school year. We would also like to express our profound gratitude to our Red Jacket Sponsors, Bianca Benitez and Courtney Crosby, who along with their classes, lead this service organization with so much heart!

DECA is excited to announce the results of the Texas DECA 2024 Career Development Conference competition. Over 7,000 students from over 220 schools in Texas competed at the George Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.
Coppell HS DECA had a school-record 210 students compete at the state level in 2024.
CHS DECA has 21 International qualifiers and tied a school-record with 25 finalists.
The qualifiers will attend International Career Development Conference competition April 26 - May 1 in Anaheim, California.
Yashitha Chunduru beat out 19 other candidates and was elected as President of Texas DECA at the conference. She took a test over DECA parliamentary procedures and DECA history and was interviewed by multiple DECA officials as part of the process. Yashitha is the first State-level officer from Coppell High School DECA.
Congratulations to these students and their DECA advisors, Richard Chamberlain and Andrea Pirtle for their help in managing a 275-member DECA chapter.
CHS students in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) organization had a successful state competition, with ten learners qualifying for the International HOSA Competition taking place in Houston in June.

A total of 32 high school Technology Student Association students have qualified for the national competition. TSA National Leadership Conference will take place Orlando, Florida in late June. Congratulations to these learners and their TSA Teacher Advisers Grant Garner, Nick Brown and Isabel Gregorek. TSA is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that encompasses the following CTE Programs of Study — Arts, Audio and Visual Technology and Communications, STEM and Robotics and Automation Technology.

SENIOR PICTURES FOR GRADUATION
Seniors: We want to know where you are going in the Fall of 2024 . Please indicate if you are going to college, community college, military, work- force, trade school, taking a gap year - we will celebrate it all with you!
Please submit a photo of yourself: a senior picture, professional graduation photo. No selfies, please! If you have a baby picture or early graduation (kindergarten graduation/ pre-school picture), please also include this picture, along with your senior picture. USE THIS LINK TO UPLOAD YOUR FILES.
Here is how we will use this information:
1. Post in on the library windows
2. Upload it to run on all the announcements screens on campus.
3. These pictures will be used on the jumbotron at Graduation.
