Tour de Creme
For students and families: Registration to ride in the 2024 Tour de Creme is open now until May 12th. The fundraiser bike ride offers a 9, 22, and 45 mile route to choose from and plenty of ice cream from local creameries along the way. If riding isn't your cup of tea, please sign up to volunteer! There are many volunteer opportunities still available that are crucial to this event's success, and it's just as fun as riding! Certification ready physical fitness level:
· Ability to swim 500 yards continuously
· Tread water for 2 minutes without the use of arms
· Swim under water 15 yards and ability to retrieve object from bottom in 7-15 feet of water

The Sippican Historical Society (SHS) in Marion has a paid intern position open for the summer. They are looking for a high school or college student interested in museum studies, history education, and/or archival skills to work 10-hours per week for 10 weeks between June and August 2024. This is a paid opportunity ($17/hour) onsite at the museum in Marion. Applications are due by March 22. Attention Seniors: Don’t forget to bring a copy of your college acceptance letters to your guidance counselor. It does not need to be the original - it can be a copy, screenshot, email, etc.
Local scholarship award letters are due to the guidance office by Wednesday, May 22. Please submit a copy or email your award notification(s) to your guidance counselor by the deadline if you would like to be recognized on the scholarship recipients list. (This list is for local scholarship awards only, not college/university scholarship awards.)
Attention Advanced Placement Students: AP Exam balances are now PAST DUE. Payments can be made in the guidance office by either cash or check (made payable to ORRHS). Stop in Guidance to see Mrs. Bichsel or email heatherbichsel@oldrochester.org
if you need to know the balance owed.
You can find AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS in the Guidance Office and also on the Guidance website. Many are online only applications. Visit the guidance page on the school website and click on Scholarship Information on the right side of the page. Scholarships are updated often, so check back regularly.
