I am excited to challenge you all to participate in next week's dare: Love Language. Please see our video below explaining the dare and its importance. Academic Lab (Repeat)
Academic Lab is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:50-4:00 p.m. An activity bus is available. If you are interested in learning more you can contact the school administration, counselor or child's classroom/homeroom teacher.

Regular season runs October 27th - March 7th. Practice is 1 time per week.
Benefits of Archery
- Improves balance and hand-eye coordination.
- Increases focus and patience.
- It’s a social sport in which students of any age and athletic ability can participate.
- Is now a lettered sport in high school!
- Practice includes conditioning, review and practice of 11 steps with stretch band, technique game, tournament style practice.

Parent IgNIGHT: Parent Tips to Navigate Remote Learning, Oct. 6 (Repeat)
Platte County School District's Parent IgNIGHT series of informative parent sessions is designed to include, inform, involve, and ignite parents.
As we navigate new ways of teaching and learning this school year, the Platte County R-3 School district invites all families engaging in full remote or hybrid schedules to join District staff in a discussion on ways to best support learners through these venues. We will address processes for teaching and learning, how to navigate the learning management system, and tips for supporting your student to stay engaged and connected to staff and peers through a virtual platform. Join us via Google Meet on Tuesday, October 6, 6:30pm.

Treasure Chest (Repeat)
The Treasure Chest is our school district resource center. It is a stocked pantry providing food, clothing, toiletries, and other household supplies. All items in the Treasure Chest are free to PCR-3 students and families who participate in the Free or Reduced School Lunch Program. The Treasure Chest is open for shopping every week of the calendar year on Wednesday evenings from 4pm-6pm. Families must register at the following link or call 816.858.7001 weekly so we can appropriately plan for resources. Once approved, families can drive through at the original Treasure Chest site (in the north parking lot of PCHS). Identification must be provided in order to receive food.
