Public Comment Procedure
Public Comment Notice: Any written or electronic communication provided by the public to the Board of Education may be considered a public record and subject to production under the Public Records Act. The produced record may include all names and detailed information contained in the communication.
In-person public comment will be allowed as required by law. If members of the public would like to submit a public comment, related to a Board Agenda item, please complete this form. These comments will be shared with all board members prior to the board meeting. Written public comments will not be read aloud. Written comments are subject to the Board’s usual time limits on public comment (3 minutes/speaker or submitter).
Written comments must contain the identity of the public commenter.
Public comments may not be anonymous. Anonymous comments will be shared
with the Board members but will not be posted online for public viewing.
Submitted items not under purview of the Board will be received as correspondence and distributed to all members of the Board of Education.
