3rd Grade
Week 10
A Note From 3rd Grade
We did it! We have had a very successful 9 weeks of distance learning. We are all so very proud of you and the great effort you have put forth to continue growing during this challenging time. We hope all of you have a safe, fun, and healthy summer and we look forward to seeing your smiling faces in August.

During our morning meetings, I learned which of us would rather eat only cold foods or only hot foods, who would take an extra ear or an extra nose, and while we were laughing about answers we were building a FAMILY. I love each and every one of you! This has been a special class in a very special year. I hope that you all have a wonderful summer, that you stay in touch, and that you get ready to rock things in 4th grade.
NEVER FORGET WHO YOU ARE and NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS THAN YOUR VERY BEST! Take the lessons that we learned and remember why we learned them. Every day think of at least one thing that you are excited for, happy about, or thankful for (for you over achievers, try to think of something that makes you ex-happi-ful).
I want to end with the last line from our class pledge that we would say every morning.....I WILL MAKE TODAY COUNT BECAUSE TODAY MATTERS AND MY FUTURE IS BUILT ONE NOW AT A TIME.
From Mrs. Hudson
I am so proud of you and thankful for all of you. None of us could ever guess that we would be ending our year like this. I want you all to know that I love you. I am so glad to know you and you are always welcome to visit my classroom.
I wanted to leave you with a few reminders. Always try your hardest! Always be your best self! Don't forget to forgive yourselves and others. Learning is a life long process keep your mind open and eager.
From Ms. Feagin
This is not goodbye. We will see each other again. (For those of you who don't know, I am not good at saying goodbye. Our class has gained and missed many friends in our classroom. Each time someone would move Ms. Feagin would cry. You are my kids!) I love each one of you like you are my own. So this is not goodbye.
We have made so many memories as a family this year. We have welcomed many friends to Giesinger and seen many leave, even to Alaska. We have learned how to multiply and study the books we read. We have found a love for multiplication songs. That is how we know that 7 is the luckiest number around. We had a GLOWING day when we studied Geometry, and earned ice cream sandwiches by having perfect attendance. We have created so many memories that I will remember forever and I hope you do too.
As we end this 3rd grade chapter, we need to think about how much we have grown as an individual as well as a family. You will also hold a place in Ms. Feagin's heart. I am so proud of you! Please come and visit me next year and the years to come.
This is still not goodbye instead see you later. I love and miss you! Have a "LLAMA"zing summer!
~Love, Ms. Feagin
From Ms. Clopton
I remember sitting down with the class right before we left for spring break. We talked about the importance of "Love", one of our Positivity Traits for that week. I told you "if you leave third grade knowing nothing more than you are LOVED, you will change the world." Look at you now! You are leaving third grade knowing SO much MORE! You have learned to have GRIT, to be FLEXIBLE, and to push through unforeseen circumstances!
I can't wait to see your smiling eagle faces back as fourth graders and hear about all of your plans for the coming school year!
Remember: Everyday is a great day to GROW!
