The OSAA Update from December 7th

The Executive Board of the OSAA on December 7th decided to push back the start of sports until February 22nd. Season 2 will begin with Cross Country and Soccer, as outdoor sports, which are permitted by the Governor's Office and the OHA in all counties. As of now, Volleyball is tied to the Governor's Country Risk Level Guidance and is not allowed in our county as of now. "In times of uncertainty, momentum is created by celebrating the small successes daily/weekly. Elite leaders can find and celebrate the small win!" (Rod Olson)

I know it has been a hard year for most of our kids and families. Hopefully, we are turning the corner. We were able to start workouts with our kids that was worth celebrating. It looks like we will get an opportunity of playing some sports starting in late February. Just keep looking for those small successes and we will get through this.
