All exams begin at 9:00 a.m. with the exception of the Science 30 exam which begins at 1:00 p.m. ELA and Social Studies exams written on June 6 and June 14 will be written in-class during their normally scheduled block.

Learning Commons

Long Night Against Procrastination

Long Night Against Procrastination is back! On Monday, June 10th the Learning Commons will be open from 5:00 pm- 11:00 pm for studying! LNAP also includes:


  • Student Tutors
  • Q & A's from teachers
  • Snacks and hot drinks
  • Stress free zones( coloring, board games, etc.)


* Check in is from 5-6 pm for those that have signed up.


Summer Reading Program

Join us online this summer! The Summer Reading Program is hosted through Google Classroom where every book of review of your current read is an entry for prizes.

Need more books? The learning Commons will be open on July 23 and August 6 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. so you can grab your next read!


*Please note: This program is only for incoming Gr. 10s, 11s and 12s. Current 12s can't participate as they are graduating this year

Red Deer and District Community Foundation Awards (Apply by 4:30 pm June 28)

ELAA 2019

Notre Dame will be hosting all the Alberta Post Secondary Institutions ( including the RCMP and Canadian Armed Forces) in our gym September 17th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. More information will be available in the fall closer to the event date.


Out Of Province Post Secondary Information Fair

Out of Province Post Secondary institutions will be hosting a public event at 6pm on Wed Oct 23. (Location to be determined.) More information will be available in the fall.


Student Loan Drop In Sessions @ RDC

The Student Connect Centre offers free drop- in sessions to students who would like some guidance while completing their full- time Student Aid application. This year's sessions will take place on the following dates:


Thursday, June 13 from 1:30pm- 3:30pm

Thursday, June 27 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Wednesday, July 3 from 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Tuesday, July 16 from 9:30am- 11:00am

Wednesday, July 24 from 11:00am - 1:00pm


Although these sessions are drop- in please sign- up for the session of you choice to ensure there are enough computers and resources for everyone in attendance. Registrants will be contacted with important information regarding their drop- in session. You can sign up here:
