Required Parent Signature Forms

Please return your completed required signature forms to your child's homeroom teacher, if you have not already done so. These are expected within the first 10 days of each academic year. Our campus Parent-Student Handbook and the Broward Code of Student Conduct may be viewed on our website at

We've Got Spirit, How About You?

Purchase your child's Spirit Stick from our Franklin Academy PTO in order for your child to 'dress down' on four (4) specific days during the 2018-2019 school year (dates to be announced). Students will receive a special spirit stick to be worn on assigned dress down days. Checks and money-orders must be made payable to Franklin Academy PTO. Thank you for supporting our school!

2018-2019 Yearbook

We're already making memories this school year and they will be captured in our 2018-2019 yearbook! Please complete the order form and return it to your child's homeroom teacher by November 2nd to reserve your 2018-2019 yearbook. You may also purchase it online at This is already shaping up to be a year to remember!

After School Clubs

We're offering a wide variety of enrichment for our students in our club program for Quarter 1 - from cooking, to crafting to various athletic sports like tennis, football and cheering! Our clubs begin on Wednesday, September 5th, and end on Wednesday, October 17th. Pick-up for all students enrolled in after school clubs takes place on the east side/bus side of the building. K-5 students are dismissed at 4:00 pm and students in grades 6-8 are dismissed at 5:00 pm. Club registration and options change quarterly, so be on the lookout for Q2 registration information at the end of this quarter. Please email your child's club sponsor directly for any changes in dismissal and/or club attendance.

MYP Athletics - Go Bulldogs!

You are invited to support our middle school boys and girls soccer teams as they work toward the Middle School Athletic Association (MSAA) Soccer Championship this season. Game dates and venues are subject to change. Entrance fees may be required for some events. Go Bulldogs!

Field Day / Field Trip Class Shirts

Order your annual field day shirt today! Please complete the order form and submit your $10 payment to your child's homeroom teacher. All checks and money-orders must be made payable to Franklin Academy PTO. No cash or online payments will be accepted for field day short orders. Orders received after Friday, September 7th, are subject to a $5 late processing fee. We appreciate your support!

Grade 8 Students Graduating in 2019!

Purchase your child's Bulldog package in one (1) easy payment by September 7, 2018 or 4 equal installments by February 15, 2019, to receive a special discount on your child's Yearbook, Class Picture, Prom Ticket and Photo Package, Islands of Adventure field trip, Class Shirt and Commemorative Bag! Teacher Planning Day

Students do not attend school on Teacher Planning days. Our office hours are 7am to 3pm, but we will have limited access to telephone and in-person assistance due to scheduled meetings for all faculty and staff. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support. We resume our office hours on regular school days.

Picture Day

Fox-Mar will be on campus on Wednesday, September 12th, to take your child's school portrait. You can pre-order your child's portrait online at or submit the order form and payment (check or money order only) to your child's homeroom teacher - payable to Fox-Mar. Students are required to wear their official school uniform - No PE uniforms should be worn on picture day. Students without a signed Media Release Form on file will NOT have their portraits taken.

Student Progress Reports

Quarter 1 student progress reports will be available for viewing on Monday, September 17th, via the PowerSchool Parent Portal for students in grades 1-8. Printed reports will not be sent home, but you may download a copy for your records. Kindergarten students will not receive a progress report for the first grading quarter.

September 19, 2018

On Wednesday September 19, 2018, there is no school for students and our offices will be closed. Classes will resume on Thursday, September 20th, and our offices will open again from 7am-4pm for telephone assistance and in-person assistance from 8:45am-1:45pm only.
