Copying and Archiving a Google Classroom
Archive A Google Classroom
After archiving your Google Classroom, you're still able to access it, restore it, see previous classwork, see comments, and see other information if you need to verify anything. When using a current Google Classroom, you're able to reuse a post from the archived one as well.
Just remember, do not delete your Classroom folder in your My Drive.
Please check out the video below on what it looks like to archive a GC, view archived assignments, restore a GC, and reuse a post.
***After you archive a class, it will automatically disappear from a student's dashboard***
Copy A Google Classroom
In the copied class, you will see a draft of the assignments you had in the original Google Classroom. When it comes time for you to use that assignment, you can click on it, edit it, and then assign the assignment to your students.
See the video below on what the copied Google Classroom looks like.
Don't forget... don't delete the Classroom folder in your My Drive.
