Open Educational Resources - November 2016
Library Links
To start us off, databases linked from the library website that will help you provide free to use online materials to your students are under the "Web Sites 4 U" section. You will find: Project Gutenberg (full text titles now available for free); Churchill Archive (History); and Pubmed (Medical database for Science and Psychology topics).
OER - What is it and how can it help?
OER stands for Open Educational Resources. These are teacher prepared lessons, research, and materials to guide and/or enhance your own lessons. This was a big topic at the Encyclomedia conference this year so I hope these links help you to find new and exciting material to enhance your lessons.
