St. Stan Star
May 9, 2019
“Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy!”
St. Augustine
It is with sadness that I write my last STAR for the wonderful families of St. Stanislaus School. Twelve years ago I came to build up the kingdom of God through the efforts of Catholic education. Over the years I have met and worked with many wonderful families. We have experienced life together: the joys, the sorrows, the anxieties, the triumphs, and the challenges. All of that encompasses the work I was called to do here. In the end, what remains with me is a sense of gratitude for having been here and for having served you on your journey of Catholic education. Together we have accomplished much and the school remains a shining STAR in the diocese when it comes to faith, service, integrity, and leadership. I move into my retirement content that I have served in the Spirit of our God, and I take with me a great joy and many sweet memories of having served here. St. Stans will remain ever in my heart as a very special place. As always, and especially now, it is a great day in the kingdom of God!
Special thanks to our Home and School Association for the wonderful retirement reception on May 5. I was overwhelmed with the gratitude and well wishes that came from so many of you. What a testament to your acceptance and appreciation. Thank you all so much!

It’s time to replace lunch trays in the cafeteria for the school year 2019 – 2020. In order to make room for the new trays, we will be selling our old trays for $1.00 each. They would be perfect for camping, to keep at cabins, BBQ’s, etc…. If you or someone you know would be interested in any please contact Karen Clogston at karenc@ststan.net.
