Message from Mr. Busch
Hadfield Families,
This is a time of significant change to our daily lives, which can often bring about uncomfortable feelings and difficult conversations. It can be challenging to manage our own responses to stress while also remaining available and supportive to our children. Below are several resources that provide some guidance for families on navigating these difficult times.

Internet Access
Here are some resources being offered across the country, depending on your provider:
Spectrum: Will offer free access to broadband for 60 days to households with K-12 and / or college students. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
AT&T: Removing data caps associated with their wireless and wired connections (see “Customer Offers”)
Comcast: Increases access and speeds to their Internet Essentials Program ($10 / month broadband); new families get 60 days free.
T-mobile: Hotspot loan programs made available to K-12 districts ($20 / month for unlimited data; $0 device).
Utilities
Utilities temporarily can’t be disconnected: “the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) directed water, electric, and natural gas utilities to cease disconnecting residential service for nonpayment until the state public health emergency has been lifted. Additionally, utilities must make reasonable attempts to reconnect service to an occupied dwelling that has been disconnected.”
Playworks
Playworks is launching a Play at Home series including virtual recess starting today! It will happen 3 times a day (11am, 1pm, 3pm), Monday-Friday! All you have to do is like the Playworks Facebook page and follow along! It is a great way for our students to break up the day, get moving, and refocus for learning!
