St. Stan Star
March 27, 2020
Dear St. Stanislaus Families
Happy Friday!
I am including the letter that was sent through Option C yesterday. Again, if we are allowed to resume school, it will be on Monday, April 13th. This was originally a day off, however, it will now be a school day if it is deemed safe for our students to return to school.
We would like to combine two events into one! Please join us for a parade drive-through! Teachers are anxious to start grading work that was sent out at the start of the closure and they would like to supply everyone with more work that will be due when we come back on Monday, April 13th. The event will also give staff and students a chance to wave to each other from afar!
If the weather does not cooperate, the Pick Up/Drop Off will take place in the gym, same day, same time. If the event is moved inside, we are asking that ONLY 1 ADULT FAMILY MEMBER COME INTO THE GYM. We will need to postpone the parade, at that point. All of the Cole County Schools are trying to do their part in flattening the curve and stopping the spread of the Virus. I have consulted with the Cole County Health Department and they have assured us that the exchange of paper is acceptable, as long as everyone practices social distancing.
The Event: Pick Up/Drop Off Work Parade
Place: Back Parking Lot of St. Stan’s School
*Please use the entrance closest to the rectory and exit by Early Childhood.
Date: Sunday, April 5th, 2020
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Hosted By: St. Stanislaus Staff
*As much as we would love to visit and give hugs, this can only be a drive-through approach, we look forward to seeing each of you there!
Thank you for your patience during this time. We are all working together to make fair and equitable decisions for our families that participate in ACH withdrawals for ASC and Lunch.
1-There will be no ACH withdrawal for April for After School Care and/or Lunch.
2-If you send a check for ASC or Lunch, please do not send an April payment.
3-If you have prepaid for ASC or Lunch (half or the whole year), we will look at each account when we return to school. You will either be issued a check for reimbursement or able to roll over a balance to be applied to the next month/year.
4-We are aware that a March ACH was taken out. If we return on April 13th, the two weeks of March and the two weeks of April will balance each other, in terms of payment.
If you have questions, please contact, Mrs. Clogston @ karenc@ststan.net, Mrs. Hoelscher @ Hoelscher.Mary.Kay@gmail.com or Mrs. Shelangoski @ angies@ststan.net.
Blessings on a beautiful day,
Mrs. Angie Shelangoski

Please check your settings in Option C
