Celebrating 50 Years of Teaching! Unbelievable!!
He loves teaching physics and working with Mt. Everest students, however, he misses working with everyone in person, as hands-on labs are his forte. As a result, he has decided to pass the torch this year. The new teacher certainly has big shoes to fill!
We cannot fully express how thankful we are to Mr. Negus for everything he has brought to Mt. Everest over the years, including our famous Science Fair, research on Double Stars where some of our students were published, and volleyball at lunch time. Mr. Negus volunteered countless hours for our science fair every year. He would often stay late into the night making sure things were set just right and ensuring students who wanted to go on to the County level had everything they needed to do so. Mr. Negus approaches everything with a smile and always has a thoughtful, caring demeanor towards everyone.
Mr. Negus will certainly be missed. We wish him the best in his future endeavors and hope he stays in touch!
