PERSONAL ITEM PICK UP AND SCHOOL SUPPLY DROP OFF FOR SUMMIT FAMILIES
The end of the 2019-20 school year is approaching, and even though we’re not able to finish the year at school, we need to allow families and teachers time to empty classrooms and pick up their items and school supplies. All OASD schools have a personal item pick up plan for families to gather the items left behind in classrooms and hallway areas. These plans will follow the COVID-19 guidelines established by the CDC to ensure the safety and well being of our students, staff, and families.
Summit Elementary Personal Item Pick Up Dates/Times
June 8: 1:00-6:00 p.m.
June 9: 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Individual appointments provided as needed
Personal Item Pick Up Details
Families will sign up for a time slot (see below) and may arrive any time during their 30-minute pick up window, and utilize the drive-up process in place. Please follow these steps for pick-up:
Returning School Items: If your student has school items like books or other classroom supplies to return to school, please place those items in a bag, labeled with your child’s name and teacher’s name. Labeling bags will help school staff understand where to return items.
Library Books: If you need to return Library books, they should be in a separate, labeled bag
Place Items in Trunk: Please place all of these items in your trunk before you arrive at school
Label Your Vehicle: Please write your student’s last name on a piece of paper to display it in your car window
Arrival at School: When you arrive at school, please pull up to the pick-up location, open your trunk, and a staff member will place your student’s items into the trunk and remove any school items you’re returning
Please remain in your car during the entire process
No one is permitted into the building

If your family is unable to attend the pick up time slots, or if you are missing anything after you pick up your student’s items, please contact Mrs. Corbe or Mrs. Gunja at 262-560-8305 to set up alternate arrangements for personal item pick up and return.
We are living in unprecedented times right now and this is not the end we expected for our school year. Even though this has been challenging, we will get through this together. The OASD has an amazing team across the District and community, and pulling together is a way to support one another and our students.
Stay safe and shine on!
