PRAIRIE POST
February 19, 2021
Message from the Principal
Hello Prairie Friends & Families,
This week we celebrated Black History Month with a read-aloud from our Director of Elementary Teaching and Learning, Melissa Yow. She read one of her favorite books I Am Every Good Thing by Derrick Barnes. We also celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week. Today our fifth-grade friends organized the lost and found and sent out a presentation with pictures to each classroom so that all of our learners can claim their lost belongings! How kind!
Remember, next week is a short week. We have an early release day on Thursday. Dismissal is at 1:40pm. We do not have school on Friday.
We are Team Prairie!
We are stronger together!
Carly Solberg
Principal
