Student Initiative ~ Message from Minseo Jo(5A): The boys in 5A are organizing a fundraiser to send medical supplies to Wuhan China. It will run from January 31 to February 7. For every dollar you donate, your son gets to put their name in a draw. The boys' name that is picked chooses a prize for his grade. The prizes are a class snack, free dress or pajama day. Your son should bring his money to 5A. Please support Wuhan.
Quebec Government News:
Public Health: In addition to the letter that Mr. Hannaford sent out earlier this week, please read the following protocol issued by the Quebec Public Health Department. An English version of this letter was not available at this time. We will continue to update you as we receive information, please do not hesitate to contact the school for guidance or questions.
Ministry of Education (MEES): As you may have heard, the Quebec government is considering revising the ERC program from K-11. They are currently in the process of collecting ideas and have put out a survey. If you are interested, the survey(English or French) is open to students, teachers, and any other resident of Quebec.
Argyle Shop: Please note that the Argyle Shop will be opened next week as usual. Inventory has been postponed until further notice.
Winter Gryphon Sale Tally: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items and who joined us at the January Gryphon sale this year. We successfully raised $2952.50 for the Nancy Pitfield Endowment fund and ensured that very good uniform items were recycled into a new home. We’ll see you at the next Gryphon Sale on May 13. Until then please drop off any gently used uniform articles you may have with Kim at the front desk.
