St. Libory Newsletter
Newsletter #10 - October 18, 2016
2nd Quarter begins this week!
This week we start the second of our four quarters. Please continue to maintain all routines and procedures you have at home. Things like where the backpack goes, where the library book stays, what time of evening your child does homework or the time you sit down to read for a few minutes each night, are all very important. Kids love routine!
Digital Citizenship Week!
We emphasize digital citizenship throughout the school year, but are putting an extra special emphasis on it next week with the help of our district wide technology specialist, Heather Callihan. She has developed a weeks worth of ideas for our teachers. Some of the activities are for our teachers and some of the activities involve our kids as well. We are also making plans for her to get into each classroom throughout the year to provide special learning opportunities for our kids regarding digital citizenship.
Please remember everything we do speaks! What you model at home with the digital tools you have has a huge impact on the kids in your home. Thanks for being a great role model for our kids.
