A HUGE congratulations to all students who were accepted into the All-State and District Honor Bands Bands last weekend. We are so proud of each and every one of you who spent hours preparing and going through the audition process. Lots of updates below, so please read thoroughly. Have a great weekend, everyone!

News & Announcements
Indoor Percussion
- Drum-a-Thon is TONIGHT!
- Parents are welcome to attend at anytime throughout the rehearsal (no other student visitors, please). We will rehearse in both the gym and the band room. Band room doors will remain locked at all times. If you need help getting into the building, just knock and we can let you in. If we are all in the gym, either text/call your student, or message Ms. Moore through the band app and she will come to the band room to let you in.
- Food can be dropped off/brought at any time. Periodic snack/rest/bathroom breaks will be given throughout the event.
- Pledge sheets should be brought to the beginning of the rehearsal and turned into Ms. Moore upon arrival. Our goal is to have every member raise at least $200!
- Pledge sheets will be given back before leaving Saturday morning.
- All donations will be due the follow Friday, 2/10.
- Linked Here is contact info for parents/guardians available to help carpool students to the out of town competitions throughout the season. Please save this page if you need any help transporting your students. For each out of town competition, a Transportation Form will be sent home for parents/guardians to fill out on behalf of their student. This is to help directors know how students will arrive to show sites, and know how to find students in case of emergency.
- Saturday, February 18th is our first SCGC performance at Wilson Central High School. Itinerary linked here!
- Transportation is NOT provided. Since this show site is 3.5 hours away, we would like to ask that parents help drive/carpool, and that no student drives themselves or other students.
- Please utilize this Transportation Form by Friday 2/15 (also linked on the itinerary) to let us know your student's travel plans. Any students driving themselves/others, a parent email must be sent to Ms. Moore. A list of parents available to help carpool is linked above, and on the itinerary.
- Tickets for this show can only be purchased online, they will not sell tickets at the door. Click here for the Ticket Order website.
- We are in need of 10 Parent Volunteers to help push the ensemble on and off the floor at our competitions. Click Here to access the Volunteer Signup for the season. Ticket purchase will still be required. We are given a few wristbands and the amount we can pass out to volunteers will change based on what staff members are present. Wrist bands will be given to the first people who signed up to volunteer for each show (sign ups are time stamped).
- Uniforms: Attire will be black marching band shoes, long black socks, black marching band bibs, and the uniform top. Uniforms will be transported to every competition in the trucks. Please arrange appropriate undergarments for the uniform tops/bottoms.
- DO NOT WASH YOUR UNIFORM. If uniform tops/pants need to be washed, we will coordinate this later in the season.
- When hanging, put the hanger through the bottom of the top so that the neck doesn't stretch out.
- Please submit membership fees!
