Research Digital Notebook Project
Majetic: Exploring the American Dream Spring 2021
Project Overview
Access to Print Materials
You still have access to print materials during remote instruction.
Option 1
- You can find what book you need by searching our catalog. (Do both a subject and keyword search for your topic) Let Mrs. Smith (Csmith@mtlsd.net) know what title you need and we will make arrangements for you to come and pick up the print title.
- If you would like a digital copy of your title let Mrs. Smith know. If it is available in that format, I will purchase it for you and show you how to download it to your computer or other device. You will access it through Sora, our eBook platform. (Your account is already set up for this.)

The Digital Notebook
A digital notebook is just that-- it's an online space for your inquiry, thinking, brainstorming, reflecting, taking notes, collecting clippings of media, and synthesizing information from your own arguments, complemented by your research. The goal of your notebook is for the reader to have a complete understanding of your arguments simply by reading; this is not a presentation. You will still be expected to have main ideas, supported arguments, logical organization and attribution of source material.
