Let's Study Nonfiction Experts!
Ms. Reynolds and Mrs. Roy wanted to enhance the fifth grade ELA curriculum this school year by using current nonfiction titles as mentor texts for a unit of study. Ms. Reynolds is piloting a Mock Sibert study with her fifth graders. Students will become familiar with these twelve titles as well as the Sibert criteria. Students will vote for our HMS Sibert winner in January. Below is the list which is varied by topic and format.
