Create a free teacher account.
1. Login to Getkahoot.com.
2. Click on the type of activity you want to create:
a. Quiz - points-based, multiple-choice quiz with unlimited questions
b. Survey - gather opinions with 1 question
c. Discussion - facilitate a debate with 1 question
Directions for creating a quiz:
1. Type a name for your quiz and click Go!
2. Type your question in the box by Question 1.
3. Drag and Drop or Browse to find an image to associate with your question. If you do not choose and image, Kahoot will insert a Kahoot logo for you.
4. There are two drop-down menus at the top, right side of your screen. You can choose to have your question be a No Points Question or a Points Question and you can determine the amount of time limit for the question.
5. Fill in your answer choices and click on the red, Incorrect box on the right answer. You can delete answer choices by clicking on the minus sign.
6. Click Add Question and repeat the above steps.
7. When you have added all of your questions, select the Next reorder questions button. 8. Drag questions to change the order, if desired.
9. Click the Next settings button.
10. You have several options on this page, including Audience Type, Language, Privacy Setting, Difficulty Setting, Description and Tags. You are required to select a Language and Audience Type.
11. Click the Next cover image button.
12. Drag and Drop or Browse to find an image to associate with your quiz. If you do not choose an image, Kahoot will insert a Kahoot logo for you.
13. Follow the directions to test your Kahoot Quiz on a mobile device.
Launching a Kahoot
1. Your computer or device must be connected to a projector.
2. Login to Getkahoot.com
3. Click the My Kahoots button at the top of your screen.
4. Locate the quiz from the list of quizzes in your account and select Play.
5. You will see some options for your quiz that you can turn on/off.
6. Click Launch. (HINT: Turn on Display PIN throughout)
7. The student directions will be displayed on your screen: a. Join at Kahoot.it. b. Game-Pin will be displayed for students to type in. c. Students will be asked to enter a nickname once they have entered the Game Pin.
8. Student names will appear on your screen as they login to Kahoot. (HINT: If a student puts inappropriate name, you can click on it and remove it.)
9. When all students have entered the game, select the Start Now button.
10. You can move through the quiz by selecting the Next button.
11. Select the Final Scores button at the end of the quiz to download results.
12. Ghost Mode allows students to play against themselves to see if they can improve their scores.
13. You can search for Kahoots others have made by clicking on Public Kahoots. Make certain you click on the All tab to view the entire library of quizzes.

2. You can Search for a Quiz or Create your own Quiz
3. Name Your Quizizz (You can add a cover image if desired.)
4. Enter questions and answer options.
5. Select time for each answer from 5 seconds to 5 minutes.
6. Click on Correct Answer.
7. Click on + New Question to add more questions.
8. Click Finish, select a grade level and add tags to add the quiz to your library.
9. Quizzes can be edited.
10. Click on Finish and Create Quiz – Select Grade Range by moving the slider and subject area.
11. HINT: When you search for quizzes, the questions on that quiz will appear in a window on the right.
1. This new feature allows you to search the database of public quizzes and add questions to your quiz.
2. Click Create Your Own Quiz.
3. Add a title for your quiz and choose to make it public or private.
4. At the top of your screen, type in a topic to search for questions and click Go.
5. Click on one of the quizzes to reveal the questions on the quiz.
6. Hover over a question and click the red plus sign to add the question to your Quizizz.
7. Continue adding questions from different quizzes to your Quizizz. You can also click the red +New Question button to add your own questions.
8. Click Finish, select a grade level, subject area, topics and tags to add the quiz to your library.
9. Click Finish and Create Quiz.

2. There are several options you can turn off or on a. Jumble the order of questions for students b. Show leadership board and ranks on student screens c. Show answers at the end of the quiz d. Question timer – more points for quick answer e. Show Memes after each question
3. Click on Play.
4. Click on Proceed – a 5 digit number appears for students to enter.
5. Once students are in select Start Game.
6. Students go to either join.quizizz.com or to quizizz.com and click on Join a Game in the upper right hand corner.
7. Enter code and a nickname.
8. Avatars are randomly selected for each student.
9. Students work at their own pace to answer the questions.
10. Students can Review the questions at the end of the game to reinforce learning by scrolling through the questions to see the ones they answered correctly and incorrectly.
2. Click Add a New Question.
3. Enter your quiz name at the top of the screen.
4. Type in your first question.
5. If you want to use images, change the toggle switch next to Use Images. The Upload an Image option will appear.
6. Enter your question, the correct answer and one or more incorrect answers in the appropriate boxes.
7. You can provide your students with an Answer Explanation and a Subtopic if desired. 8. On the left side of the screen, you can set the time limit for your answers (5 – 60 seconds).
9. Click Add Question and continue adding questions until you have completed your quiz.
10. Click Save at the bottom of the screen when you have completed your quiz.
1. Click on the Your Classes tab.
2. Click Edit Classes.
3. Click Add New Class.
4. Complete the Class Name, Subject and Age Group fields.
5. Click Add.
6. A Class Code will be displayed after you add the class. The code will remain the same each time you use the site or open a quiz.
2. Click the New Board button. Your board will have 6 columns and 5 rows. You do not have to use all of the columns and rows.
3. Give your board a title.
4. Type the name of the first category into the Category 1 field.
5. Type a question and the answer into the corresponding boxes. You have some formatting choices for your questions and answers.
6. Continue adding questions, answers and categories.
7. When you are ready to use your game with students, click the Presentation View button to display it through a projector
*Note: FlipQuiz is free to use for text-based questions. If you want to use images in your questions or answers you must upgrade to the Premium account.

2. Type a title into the Title Box.
3. Type your words in the blank squares.
4. If you want to add more than 24 words, click on Add more words. Each word must be on a separate line. BingoBaker will randomly select 24 words to appear on the card.
5. Click Generate.
6. You will need to direct the students to the URL (web address) of the Bingo game (Play Online on the right side of the screen).
7. You can also access a word list from the Play Online option.
8. Students click on a square to mark it.
9. Click the refresh icon to access another board.
