St. Stan Star
November 15, 2019
Happy Friday
Thank you again for all of your patience and understanding as we “weathered” another crazy week!
As the Christmas Season approaches, please mark the Christmas Program on your calendar!
*Thursday, December 5th, 2019!
*There will be a 1:30 program for grandparents, or anyone who does not want to venture out at night. The 1:30 program will be a dress rehearsal, students will be in uniform for this performance.
*The second performance will take place at 6:30 p.m. Students may wear Christmas dress attire. Jeans are not allowed but dress shoes are not required (students may wear tennis shoes). Students are encouraged to wear Church attire that reflects the Christmas Holiday. Students will be asked to leave accessories that light up or santa hats at their seat so they do not distract from others on stage. Students may also wear their uniform or uniform pants with nice shirts.
*If your student plans to leave school after the 1:30 performance, they must have a note or email to their homeroom teacher prior to Thursday, the 5th!
*The school is in need of several Christmas trees that could be used as decoration for the program. If anyone has a gently used tree that they would like to donate to St. Stanislaus, it would be much appreciated!
Another note as we approach Christmas parties, all homeroom parents must be Virtus trained. Please contact the office if you need help with the process (www.virtusonline.org)!
NEW PROCEDURE FOR LATE START MORNINGS:
-If there is a late start, we will operate the same drop off procedure that is used in the afternoon for pick up!
-There will be three lanes of cars that will pull up to a cone in the back lot.
-Everyone in the first 4 cars will dismiss and go into school.
-School personnel will then remove one cone at a time to dismiss each row.
-This procedure should ensure an efficient and timely drop off process.
-Please DO NOT drop students off ANYWHERE but in the back lot, this is for their SAFETY!!!
-There are many areas around the school and church that are extremely slick on these types of mornings.
The choir, fifth grade class, and students whose home parish is St. Margaret’s, enjoyed a beautiful Mass this morning! It was a special celebration of community!
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them, Matthew 18:20.
Blessings,
Mrs. Angie Shelangoski

Technology Dinner & Auction April 18th, 2020.
Every three years, St. Stanislaus holds an auction to raise money to meet the ongoing technology needs for our children and teachers. In order to make this event as successful as we can for our children and the school, your help is needed. The upcoming auction will be held the evening of April 18, 2018, with a baseball theme and will be a time to eat, drink and be charitable for technology.
Please send an e-mail to loadbases4tech2020@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping or have any questions.
