Want to schedule a conference (and have not heard from a teacher)? Parents will be able to begin scheduling conferences on Wednesday, February 9th. E-mail the content teacher/ team and they will provide you with their availability.
In order to accommodate busy families, the primary format of these conferences is via Zoom.
MVHS Jaguar ADP
Students who are involved in sports, or who might be interested in getting involved next year, should strongly consider signing up for Jaguar ADP for the summer. This program is an excellent way to get fit and train with your Mill Valley coaches all summer long. We are excited to once again offer this opportunity to our incoming freshmen and middle school students. Last summer we had over 800 student athletes who chose Jaguar APD as their summer workout program, and the results were astounding. We look forward to seeing you and your fellow students athletes at Mill Valley this summer.
Please click on the link below for details regarding this incredible summer training opportunity.

From the Nurse
Attendance
When reporting your student absent due to illness please leave a brief description of symptoms such as stomach issues, headache, fever, strep, flu. It helps to track illnesses in our building. If you say “not feeling well” you will receive a follow-up call from the school nurse to gather symptoms.
It is district policy to keep your student home until symptom free/fever free for 24 hours without medication. It will help to prevent the spread of illness.
Covid-19 Vaccinations
At this time the district does not require proof of the Covid -19 vaccination. If you would like the Covid-19 vaccination to be part of your student’s school health records, please provide a copy of the Covid-19 vaccination card, front and back to Theresa Koeckeritz, RN, MTMS school nurse. You can send a copy in with your student or send a copy to Tkoeckertiz@usd232.org
What if a doctor diagnoses your child with the flu? Current recommendations from the JOCO Health Department, KDHE, & USD 232 are exclusion from school for diagnosed influenza for 5 days following the onset of symptoms (from the day when symptoms began…not the day the doctor gave the diagnosis) or until fever free for 24 hours without the aid of fever reducing medications, whichever is longer. (example: if fever last 7 days student needs to stay home 7 day plus 24 hours after fever has resolved-time excluded 8 days, weekends count as part of exclusion; example 2 if symptoms begin on Saturday and fever ends on Monday student can return in 5 days on Thursday).
To aid countywide influenza tracking, please give details about your student’s illness. If your student has flu-like symptoms or has been diagnosed with flu, please be prepared to provide:
· Date symptoms started (and date of diagnosis if different)
· Date of flu shot, if received
· Type of flu (Influenza A, Influenza B, Influenza AB or type unknown)
· If student was hospitalized
Flu symptoms and Covid-19 symptoms are very similar. Your student may need to get tested for both Influenza and Covid-19.
