Covid-19 Protocols: Public Health has been updating its procedures for schools over the past few days. If your son has any symptoms, please keep him at home and complete the Covid online self-assessment tool to determine if your son needs to be tested.
Students need to bring in a re-usable water bottle to use at the water refill stations at school.
Health & Safety
- Masks: Students were each given a supply of 2 procedural masks to wear each day they are in school. They should wear one in the morning and change to a fresh mask after lunch. The supply, labelled in a Ziploc bag for each student, is intended to last until Friday, February 12 as per our hybrid schedule. Please note these masks are strictly for in-school usage (not for use on the weekend at home) Students must wear procedural masks at all times while in class, in the hallways, in PE, and outside at recess.
- Hand washing/sanitizing measures are still in place at each entry and classrooms
- Students remain in pods for classes (status quo)
- Lunch will continue to be served in classes (students must be in their core pod classroom or outside during breaks)
Schedule
- The hybrid schedule will continue until further notice from MEES
- The hybrid schedule is updated on the school calendar. Please note Grade 10 students are in school both Friday, January 22 and Monday, January 25. This is correct! This is to balance out the distribution of in-school cycle days with the PTI days, holidays, and ped. days.
