Volunteer Recognition Awards
Now that county & state fair season is over, it is time to start thinking about how to recognize all the hard work that -H volunteers did over the year. One way to do that is to nominate a volunteer for the Volunteer of the Year award and the Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer of the Year. These applications are due the 4-H State Office (cjohnston1@unl.edu) by October 13. Winners of the state competition with be forwarded for the North Central award and that winner is eligible for national competition.
To nominate a volunteer you need to submit a Resume, 3 letters of recommendation and fill out THIS form. Remember you can nominate one person for Volunteer of the Year (less than 10 years) and one person the Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award (10 years and greater years of service).
