From the Principal
December is a special month and we have a lot of fun things planned for staff and students. As I visit classrooms, I can feel the excitement of learning and see students making so much progress. Students are following our three R's while being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. I am thankful to be a part of this amazing community.
Family time is extremely important during the holidays. I hope you have time to get together over the winter break and to enjoy some activities. I look forward to all that 2022 will bring.
Sincerely,
Kim VerMerris
Principal

It's Concert Time!
The Edgewater Chorus is excited to present "Sounds of the Seasons," A Winter Concert. The concert is Dec 16 at 6 pm in the cafeteria. Students should arrive by 5:45 pm. Student attire is nice, dressy, or holiday attire. No jeans or tennis shoes if possible. To ensure that we do not surpass room capacity, each chorus student will be given 6 tickets (5 guests and 1 for the student) on Dec 15. Only people with tickets will be allowed to enter the building. Families must sit together and will be socially distanced from other audience members. All audience members must wear a mask while in the building. Please contact Ms. Womble with any questions at nwomble@aacps.org.
Our Band and Strings Concert will take place in January. Stay tuned for more information.
