Mrs. Lovern's computer class watched a virtual field trip about all of the historical sites in Washington D.C. Then, students participated in a Google Hangout with Mrs. Lovern's daughter who showed them pictures of her trip to D.C. and answered the student's questions. Google Hangouts is a great tool to communicate with others in the world to gather feedback, enhance a learning experience, and experience opportunities outside of their city that they may not get to experience.
