Pink Out Day Fundraiser for American Cancer Society
Pink Out Day is Thursday, October 24, 2019
Students and Faculty are encouraged to dress all in pink to show our support for all who are battling any type of cancer!
Recently, our fifth graders had a special visit from Dianne Fonseca who is a cancer survivor. The fifth grade students are holding a fundraiser and encouraging each student to donate one dollar to Making Strides for Breast Cancer. We encourage our students to give their own money and take this opportunity to do a chore or two at home and earn the money to donate. Pink Out cards will be sent home where families can dedicate the donation to anyone special to them. Once we receive the card and donation, we will then post the cards around the school to show how our students we are supporting this worthy cause
Halloween Safety Tips
- A responsible adult should accompany young children on the neighborhood rounds
- If your older children are going alone, plan and review a route acceptable to you
- Agree on a specific time children should return home
- Teach your children never to enter a stranger's home or car
- Instruct children to travel only in familiar, well-lit areas and stick with their friends
- Tell your children not to eat any treats until they return home
- Children and adults are reminded to put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don't run, across the street

When Your Child Is Absent
FEVERS, Diarrhea, and Vomiting...
Please remember to keep your child home for 24hrs since the last episode of fever (without fever reducing meds), diarrhea and vomiting before returning to school. Make sure your child is taking solid food for a full 24 hours before returning to school. Please continue to call in the absences as we will continue to keep track of illnesses within our school population.
Nut/Peanut Free Classrooms please
Our cafeteria provides nut/peanut free tables to keep our students with those allergies safe.
Your child may bring in peanut/nuts for lunch and sit at tables other than the nut/peanut free tables.
