Our annual PTA Ice Cream Social will take place on Friday evening, June 9th from 6:00-8:00 PM. This event will happen RAIN OR SHINE!
We are in need of volunteers for this event. If you can volunteer, please click HERE.
We are also trying to get an idea of the number of ice cream cups to purchase ahead of time. Please RSVP by clicking HERE to let us know how many cups of ice cream you wish to purchase on the evening of the event. The PTA will be charging $2.00 for each ice cream cup at the Ice Cream Social.
We are ordering ice cream from Dairy Queen and we must have an accurate count of ice cream by Friday, June 2nd so that we have enough ice cream for everyone.
Please plan ahead, as we do not want to upset anyone by not having enough ice cream for all.
We are asking that each grade level bring ice cream toppings for the ice cream social. We will be collecting these items the week of June 5-9. Please do not bring these items in before that date due to storage at school. Thank you for your help.
We are asking that each grade level donate the following toppings:

1st Grade - Chocolate Topping in squeeze bottles.
2nd Grade - Caramel/Butterscotch Topping in squeeze bottles.
3rd Grade - Sprinkles
4th Grade - Whipped Cream

Kindergarten 2017
Kindergarten Information
Incoming kindergartners must be five-years-old on or before September 1, 2017.
Exception: According to Michigan Law, a child may be enrolled in kindergarten
if he/she is not five years of age on September 1, 2017 but will be five years of
age not later than December 1, 2017 and parent or legal guardian notifies the school
district in writing (Kindergarten Waiver Form) that he or she intends to enroll the
child in kindergarten.
Research indicates that developmentally appropriate full-day schedules benefit kindergarten children academically, socially and emotionally. Our principals and teachers understand this and are well equipped to meet the needs of our kindergarten students.
Our kindergarten students begin to learn a whole host of reading, writing and mathematics concepts and learning strategies that give them the foundation for a successful elementary school career in Walled Lake Schools.
