Happy Tuesday Morning!
Below you will again find information regarding the upcoming MAP testing schedule. We look forward to the effort our kids will give during these tests.
I can not believe that tomorrow is our 100th Day of School! Some of our kids will be involved with special activities in their classroom during the day. Thanks for helping out if your child's teacher sent home a note regarding anything they may need here at school on Wednesday.
If you ever have questions, please contact us here at the office.

Here is our MAP testing schedule!
Wednesday is our 100th Day of School!
This Wednesday we will celebrate our 100th day of school. Some of our students will be interacting with the number 100 in a variety of ways. If your child's teacher sent home information asking for your help, we do appreciate you sending whatever was asked for. It's always a big day in the life of an elementary student!
Notes from our school nurse!
It’s that time of year again! Flu season! It’s not too late to get vaccinated! The single best way to prevent the flu is to get a flu vaccine each season. The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common this season. Encourage your kids to have good health habits. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too. Stay home when you are sick. If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. This will help prevent spreading your illness to others. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. (Most experts believe that flu viruses spread mainly by droplets made when people with flu cough, sneeze or talk.) Clean your hands. Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs are often spread when a person touches a surface or object that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth. Healthy habits can protect everyone from getting germs or spreading germs at home, work, or school. Clean and disinfect surfaces or objects. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs like the flu can help slow the spread of influenza. District Wide In-service - Jan. 22, 2018
There will be no school for our students on Monday, January 22, 2018. Our staff members will be taking part in all-day in-service activities at Northwest High School. These professional days are extremely valuable to the growth of our instructors and administrators. There will be a smorgasbord of activities provided we will all grow from. Thanks for making plans for your children that day.
