Poetry Circle
Mrs. Finney's 9th grade English class covered poetry last month, which included the students writing their own Shakespearean sonnets and other poems. The culminating activity was a good ole' candlelit poetry circle. No electronics, including no lights or cell phones, were allowed as each student shared aloud one of their own poems with the class by candlelight. The poetry was very impressive, as was their courage and delivery.

(There is a concern that the students there may get hurt.)
If you are interested in attending, this is a strictly RSVP by January 4th only trip. This is due to the fact that the institute needs to be able to set up what is done based on the number of students. If interested, please RSVP to Miss Barb at bmulvany@sandi.net There is a set number who can attend, so if interested please let me know asap. :)
