Back-to-School Packet
Early Release Wednesdays Begin Wednesday, September 5
Every Wednesday Terra Linda students will be dismissed at 1:35pm. If your student rides the bus home, all bus routes are adjusted for the early dismissal time. If your student walks, rides their bike or you pick them up, please be sure to make arrangements for the early dismissal time. Students must be picked up at 1:35pm on Wednesdays beginning Wednesday, September 5. The only exception is on Wednesday, August 29. Students will be dismissed at 3:05pm.
Parking Lot Safety
Please carefully review the Drop Off / Pick Up Map to help ensure
the safety of all of our students, families and staff. We have added two new 10 minute parking spaces. These are to be used for picking up and/or dropping off your student for appointments or any quick needs you may have.
•Be sure to follow all parking lot signs, arrows and directions
•Do not park along the curb as this is a fire lane. Vehicles are subject to citation by local law enforcement
•Drive very slowly through the parking lot, 10mph or slower
•Stop at all stop signs.
•Follow crossing guard instructions.

Volunteering with Siblings
Beaverton School District has recently updated their policy regarding volunteers and siblings. Please read the updated policy below.
Volunteers should not bring younger siblings and babies to school when they are scheduled to volunteer. It is a safety issue. It is distracting in the classroom and other areas and causes disruption when there are additional children in a classroom or other learning space.
We understand this may be new information for some volunteers. Here is one idea to consider: Perhaps you can trade child care with another volunteer so you are both able to volunteer without bringing younger children to school. Did you know you can document your time spent watching another parent's child as a volunteer activity in MyVolunteerPage.com? It is another way to volunteer at Terra Linda even if you are not able to come to the school.
Hispanic Parent Night
We will have a welcome from our Principal, time for families to meet each other, a review of the school calendar for this year, and provide help with Online Enrollment Verification and Seesaw. The information that evening will be presented in Spanish.
Student Medication at School
All medication must be transported to and from the school by a parent or guardian.
