Need To Know
An important message from Mr. Banerjee
As of Tuesday, April 6, all senior students will return to in-person classes. It is more important than ever that we are vigilant with health and safety protocols. I would ask for everyone's cooperation in adhering to Selwyn's health and safety guidelines issued in September, specifically the appropriate use of mask wearing. To ensure the safety for all, students who do not adhere to our health and safety guidelines will be removed from classes and/or school activities. We look forward to seeing all the Selwyn senior students back together!
2021-2022 Parent Academic Information Evening on Thursday, April 8 @ 7:00 pm. This presentation is for parents of students currently in Grades 8, 9 & 10. Parents will hear about course option selections for 2021-2022. Students are welcome but not required to attend; presentations will be made to students at school. For more information contact Ms. Brenda Montgomery. Click here for the Zoom link. The presentation will be recorded
1000 Acts of Kindness: For detailed information about this 10-week initiative, visit this slide presentation and learn how parents, students and staff are participating in the “1000 Acts of Kindness” challenge.
- Week 2 Update: We've collected close to 90 loaves of sandwiches - thank you all! If you can help us reach our goal of 100 loaves by preparing loaves next week, contact Mr. Grier.
Week 3 Challenge: Engage in 100 30-minute conversations with someone outside of your household who is a person who may be lonely, whose health may be vulnerable or who may be in need or craving some companionship. Be a good listener. Once completed go to the Week 3 Form and enter your name.
2020-21 Grade 10 Retreat
From March 22-25, the Grade 10 students enjoyed perfect spring weather at their offsite retreat this week! Each class pod participated in a day of activities, workshops and outdoor programming. Focusing on team-building, leadership and preparing for the future, the students explored their personal values and how they want to build community as they transition to their final year of senior school.
